Porvair Filtration Group of Fareham, UK, has added two products to its Tekfil range of polypropylene (PP) depth filter cartridges. TheTekfil SW range of precision-wound filter cartridges are available in a variety of media types and with either PP or steel cores, ensuring their compatibility with a wide range of chemicals. The use of glass fibre on a steel core enables them to operate at temperatures of up to 400°C in the presence of a broad spectrum of solvents. The cartridges are suitable for numerous applications, such as in the manufacture of food and beverages, fine chemicals and solvents, coatings and photographic chemicals, and in metal-finishing and water-treatment processes.
