The Technical Textiles Institute (ITA) at RWTH Aachen University in Germany has opened the Dream2Lab2Fab, dedicated to the development of smart textiles. Its partners are the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH) in Cheonan and the Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) of Seoul, also in Korea, who will work together with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from both countries to develop automated textile production technology and new smart materials at the Aachen research centre.
