Polar Electro of Kempele, Switzerland, is launching the Team Pro Shirt-a sleeveless, base-layer shirt that is a more comfortable and reliable alternative to the current chest straps used for monitoring the performance of athletes. Polar Electro's Team Pro System, which comprises sensors and straps, is used by all of Germany's Bundesliga football teams, 75% of the UK's Premiership sides and a host of NBA, NHL, MLB and NFL teams in the USA, but some athletes have found it uncomfortable to wear.
