JNC of Tokyo, Japan, and FiberVisions of Duluth, Georgia, USA, are to invest jointly in a new production line for polyolefin bicomponent fibres at ES FiberVisions in Suzhou, China. ES fibres were the first bicomponent types produced successfully on a commercial scale by Chisso, JNC's parent company. Nonwoven fabrics made of ES Fiber are widely used in baby diapers, wet wipes and feminine care products.
