Two German companies - Voith Paper of Heidenheim and Moenchengladbach-based Truetzschler Nonwovens - have collaborated to develop a production process capable of mak- ing nonwoven fabrics that meet industry-approved standards for flushable products. The partners say that to be certified as flushable, fabric-based products must meet the standards set jointly by two of the nonwoven industry's leading international trade associations: INDA of Cary, North Carolina, USA; EDANA of Brussels, Belgium.
