The SO™ Man-made Fibers Congress will take place in Dornbirn.Austria.on 14-16 September, taking its theme as Man-made Fibers the Next 50 Years. The event will comprise about 100 lectures grouped into sessions covering: new developments in fibres; functional textiles; sustainability; fibres for technical textiles; finishing; European Union (EU)-funded research projects. Included in this programme will be 13 presentations by those chosen as opinion leaders and/or key decision makers within the industry. Speakers will come from: the Japan Chemical Fibers Association; DuPont Experimental Station and the American Chemical Society, USA; UK-based Marks & Spencer, and PCI Fibres and Raw Materials; RWTH Aachen, Hochschule Niederrhein, Hohenstein Insitute, Adam Opel,Advansa and Adidas of Germany; Ikea of Sweden.
