The development of China's technical textiles industry was discussed in depth duringrnthe first China International Forum, held in Shanghai 22 October 2009 at the samerntime as Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics. Vicky Sung reports.rnThe First China International Forum forTechnicalTextiles and Nonwovens was held 22 October 2009 in Shanghai, at the same time as Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics (20-23 October). Adopting the theme of "Green, Healthy and Innovative", the Forum was staged by several partners: the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC);the China Nonwovens & Industrial Textiles Association (CNITA);and the joint organizers of the Intertextile exhibition, CCPIT-Textile Subcouncil and Messe Frankfurt (Hong Kong).
