Samson, a worldwide leader in performance cordage, has introduced a range of ropes developed for the sailing market that use a high-performance fibre made by Innegrity LLC.rnFrom its base in Simpsonville, South Carolina, USA, Innegrity says it will supply Samson with its highly crystalline, high modulus polypropylene fibre Innegra S. The high-quality MLX, Samson's first product using Innegra S, is intended for sailors looking to upgrade from traditional fibres but without needing the characteristics of the more expensive synthetic materials, such as high modulus polyethylene (HMPE), liquid-crystal polymers (LCP) and aramids.
