Glatfelter has completed its acquisition of Concert Industries from Brookfield Special Situations Management-a venture capital firm with offices in Brazil, Canada, the UK and the USA.rnGlatfelter, a manufacturer of speciality papers and engineered paper products based in York, Pennsylvania, USA, has agreed to pay Can$246.5 million for Concert-a manufacturer of cellulose-based air-laid nonwovens with two facilities, one in Gatineau, Canada, and the other in Pritzwalk, Germany. Concert makes fabrics for use in the manufacture of a diverse range of consumer and industrial products for growing end use markets-including feminine hygiene prod-rnucts, adult incontinence items, speciality wipes and food pads.
