While compiling this preview, Technical Textiles International asked exhibitors for their thoughts on the current economic climate.rnPresident and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AccuSentry Wei Sion Tan offered his recipe for success: "The companies that are continuing to make the same fabric are suffering and see their business declining. The companies that continuously innovate are doing very well. They are making speciality fabrics and fibres based on proprietary technology. Due to global competition, the technical textiles industry in North America needs to proactively employ high technology and modern processes to produce state-of-the-art materials. The manufacturers must be agile and quick to response to changing requirements, perform changeover efficiently from one product style to another, and provide high quality at competitive prices. The focus must be on utilizing technology to provide more innovative products with ever more increasing efficiency."
