The Indian Technical Textiles Association (ITTA) was formally launched on 16 April 2010 in Mumbai with an initial membership of about 60 companies, representing various sectors including agrotextiles, medical textiles,geotextiles, and textiles for transportation, building and construction, technical clothing, packaging, safety and protection, and sports and leisure.
