Mölnlycke health carerngroup has acquired 100% of the shares of JKT, a leading Polish producer of medical clothing based in Bialystok.rnJKT's product range consists of surgical drapes, gowns and apparel. The company has 110 employees, and in 2008 it generated a turnover of around €5.5 million. Molnlycke believes that it will benefit from JKT's position in the surgical products market and knowledge of the Polish market.rnAs a fully owned Polish subsidiary, the acquisition will serve as a platform for the development of the Molnlycke Wound Care business in Poland. Further, selected parts of the JKT portfolio could be offered in the international market.
