With speakers from eight different countries reporting on 20 topics, the organizer claims that the Fifth International Filtration Conference, to be held in Osaka on 7-8 November 2006 will be the largest in Japan since 1995. Organizer Filter Media Consulting (FMC) Inc (working in cooperation with Nikkan Kogyo Shim-bun) says topics covered will include the tremendous local potential of baghouse filtration for high-temperature applications and for incinerators. Japan has 1400 baghouse systems, the single largest market worldwide, with high-temperature filter media, woven glass media, catalytic filter bags and experience in this sector going back 15 years. A paper on the filtration and baghouse market in China will be unique to the conference, adds FMC.
