Approximately 730 international participants from 34 countries (80% Europe, 15% Asia, 5% Americas) took part at the 55th Dornbirn Man-Made Fibers Congress (MFC) on September 20-22, 2016 in Dornbirn/Austria. A special mention should be given to countries like Malaysia, India, Thailand, Belarus, Ghana, etc. Great interest came from the USA, Japan, Korea and China which were represented by large delegations. More than 60 new companies participated compared to 2015. The congress was also noticeable in that, among other things, participants came from the entire supply chain: fiber producers (44), textile companies (approx. 100), equipment producers (16), chemical companies (25), brands & retailers (20).
