With the aid of the ORW technology from Lindauer Dornier, structurally stable scrims with a stretched standing yarn run and a profile-donating leno yarn system were developed at the ITM of the TU Dresden. These leno fabrics have a high application potential for the reinforcement of components based on mineral matrices.
