At the ITMA 2015, J. Zimmer Maschinenbau GmbH, Kufstein/Austria, a specialist for printing and coating machines, will launch 2 new digital printers as well as a newly developed rotary screen printing machine. Colaris Infiniti is a 1.8 m printer, which can hold up to 8 colors and 32 SPT 1024GS print-heads in total with drop sizes from 7-21 pico-liter. The speed ranges from 520 m~2/h at 360×360 dpi at 1 pass to 170 m~2 at 360×1080 dpi at 3 pass using 4 heads per color. Colaris3 is the 3rd generation of the high-performance digital textile printer using up to 64 Fujifilm Dimatix Starfire heads with ink circulation system. Print heads are available in 3 different models with drop sizes from 10-250 picoliter and a native resolution of 400×400 dpi. The maximum speed of the Colaris3 will be 1,670 m~2/h and will cover resolutions up to 1,600 dpi. It is available from 1.8-5 m in width.
