摘要

Damages caused by product piracy in 2012 in Germany alone amounts to about € 7.9 billion. A current project of the Institut fuer Textilchemie und Chemiefasern (ITCF), Denken-dorf/Germany, and Fraunhofer-Institut fuer Produktionstechnik und Automatisierung (IPA), Stuttgart/Germany, is being carried out concerning the marking of textile materials with a view to secure trademark protection. Jointly developed transparent marking inks are applied across large areas for safety markings on textile substrates. The security code, which is not visible to the naked eye, can be detected by means of a tuned infrared sensor and converted into a visible security code.
