摘要

A facade panel, fulfilling all requirements for fire class A2, is a joint development of the manufacturer of nonwovens Johns Manville Sales GmbH, Wertheim/Germany, and the specialist for laminates FunderMax GmbH, St. Veit/Austria. For the new product m.look, the partners replaced the cellulose-based papers that are utilized in current compact panels with a non-inflammable alternative. Technical and economical evaluations have shown that glass fiber nonwovens offer the best solution for this quest. This glass fiber nonwovens open up completely new areas of applications.
