A very positive industry outlook was presented at the 3rd Techtextil India, Mumbai/lndia, held on October 10-12, 2011. The technical textiles industry was forecast to increase € 227 million by 2016/17, with a projected growth rate of 20 %. The industry has grown to € 91 million in 2011/12 from € 59 million in 2010/11.
