The global glass fiber production landscape has changed considerably over the last two years, featuring market concentration and/or consolidation along with the appearance of new players, mainly in China. Glass fiber is generally classified into 4 main families; E, ECR, Advantex and HP. Glass composition is one of the key parameters leading to higher-strength fiber. Filament collection, alignment, sizing formulations and sizing application are a few of the many production parameters that also play a key role in final strand properties.
