On July 16-17, 2010, the manufacturer of tools for the production of textiles Groz-Beckert KG, Albstadt/Germany, celebrated the opening of the Technology and Development Center (TEZ) with guests from industry, science and politics as well as customers and partners.rnWith an investment of € 70 million, the TEZ was completed in autumn 2009 and covers a total area of 25,000 m~2, of which 14,000 m~2 is floor space. 5 pilot plants for the various textile manufacturing processes knitting, weaving, felt, tufting and stitching, and the Groz-Beckert laboratory are available for research, development, application support and training.
