At the K 2010 plastic show in Duesseldorf/ Germany, Oerlikon Barmag, Chemnitz/Ger many presented solutions for the economical production of artificial turfs and other monofilaments.rnTo permit the economical production of arti ficial turf using LLDPE, HDPE and PP yarns even in smaller batches, the monofilament systems producer has developed a compact system that enables production - with an output of between 100 and 150 kg/h - at ap prox. 50% of the normal capacity of a stan dard system. The space requirements were decisively reduced as a result of an innovative 3-level hot-air oven for 1-step drawing and 2-step thermosetting of the monofilaments.
