PA yarn is today part of a complex floor system offering a comfortable driving environment. However, new entrants are emerging driven by cost, such as PET, PP yarn or needlepunch, and oil-independent materials, such as PLA and PTT. Additionally, as the number of small cars increases, so will the use of needlepunch carpet, placing additional pressure on the use of tufted carpet as a choice of surface product.
