摘要

Due to the progress in miniaturization of electrical and optical components it is possible to introduce non-textile functions into a textile product. By integration of sensors, the textile has the ability to monitor itself or to control its environment. It is also important that the integration of sensors does not affect the classical behavior of the textile. This presentation intends to give an idea of modern concepts for measuring mechanical tension, elongation and temperature in fabrics by means of integrated Bragg-sensors.
