摘要

Grilon binder yarns based on nylon, polyester or phenoxy resin are available by Ems-Griltech, Domat/Ems, Switzerland, with melting points from 60-180 ℃ and in various filament counts. Typical applications are stabilized UD fabrics, stitched non-crimp fabrics, tailored fiber placements, preform assembly by sewing, braiding etc. The new phenoxy resin based yarn Grilon MS can be used for weaving and stitching and has the function of a thermobinder and is dissolved in the epoxy matrix during curing.
