At the JEC Composites fair in March 2009 ir Paris/France, Toho Tenax Europe GmbH, Wuppertal/Germany, exhibited new developments of carbon filament yarns and staple fibers.rnWith the introduction of the new Tenax-E IMS65 24K, Toho Tenax has expanded the product range supplied by its European production base. The new product is now commercially produced on the new productior lines in Germany. For aerospace applications, this product is qualifiable from mid-2009. Under development is the ultra high-tenacity fiber Tenax-E UT555 24K with enhanced tensile properties targeted for high performance industrial applications, for example off-shore and pressure vessels and also for aerospace use. It will be produced on the newest production line in Germany which will be finalized as scheduled in August 2009.
