At the IMB 2009 in Cologne/Germany the Amann Group, Bonnigheim/Germany, will for the first time exhibit the Blue Sky Technology, which will help to put an end to brand forgery. It guarantees the simultaneous protection of brand names and quality through intelligent yarns without delay and on a worldwide basis. This new technology makes it possible to detect the source of branded products and trace back characteristics regarding quality and originality through the complete manufacturing and marketing processes. Blue Sky can be made available on all Amann products and is therefore suitable for every type of yarn application, whether for sewing or embroidery. The new range of Amann Lifecycle yarns that will soon be introduced to the market contains 2 textured items, a multifilament sewing yarn and an embroidery yarn, all of which have been manufactured from 100% recycled polyester. Products made of organic cotton will also be featured.
