Application fields of the rotation technology are anti-slip application, production of filter materials, fixing of active carbon or super absorber, lamination of textiles, production of hot melt nonwovens as well as gluing of films and materials of the plates. Advantages of the rotation technology in adhesive application are 1. no spray air when applying the adhesive 2. no heating of spray air 3. no spray nozzle pollution by loose particles 4. continuous adaptation of adhesive application patterns and application weights 5. no doubling of application weight in the border area, such as is the case with spin spray processes 6. very even application of adhesive, even in case of large width 7. because of the missing spray air, the adhesive can be applied on loose particles, such as active carbon or super absorbers, without problems 8. low purchase price in comparison with traditional spray system or roller application systems 9. low size of application head 10. very wide application of adhesives with just one rotary head (approx. 1,200 mm). These are only some examples for application of this new application technology for hot melt and cold glues in this article.
