For the cost effective manufacture of small amounts of flock fibers special equipment is necessary. However, at the present time no such equipment is commercially available. For this reason the subject of this article is the development of a laboratory cutting machine. The intended flock fiber output is the range of 500 g/h up to 5 kg/h.
