Go Baby Go! (GBG) is an international grassroots, open source movement focused on real-time, real-world solutions for mobility. The mission of GBG is centrally focused on the concept that mobility is a human right. The program thrives on disruptive innovation, academic research, and community outreach that provide social mobility experiences that create opportunities for independence and self-expression. ITEEA has created a GBG microsite as a hub to view all ongoing and past efforts and activities happening between GBG and ITEEA, including resources, events, media, a recent GBG STEMinar, and the ITEEA course developed with GBG! Providing access and equity for all PreK-12 students to become technologically and engineering literate through high-quality sTE_m instruction is imperative. Students who study technology and engineering through an integrative sTEm education approach learn about the technological world that inventors, engineers, and other innovators have created. The goal is to produce students with a more conceptual understanding of technology and engineering and its place in society. These students must conceptualize and evaluate new technologies that they may have never before seen. By "doing and making," children become "makers" for the future.
