NC State College of Education Professor Aaron C. Clark has received the 2017 Distinguished Service Award from the Engineering Design Graphics Division (EDGD) of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). The award is the division's highest honor and was presented to Clark in recognition of his outstanding and distinguished career as an educator and scholar. Clark is a professor of technology, design, and engineering education. He has been a member of ASEE's EDGD since 1995. During that time, he has served the division as its chair, vice chair, and head of the liaison committee. Of Clark's contributions to the organization, the EDGD stated on a plaque presented to him during the ASEE Annual Conference in late June: "His tireless efforts and sage wisdom have contributed greatly to the evolution of the division and the camaraderie enjoyed by its members."
