摘要

Many teachers desire that their materials be exciting, engaging, and meaningful. Multicopters hold a promise of providing an avenue for capturing the students' attention and imagination while meeting the intent (objectives) of the state or local curriculum. Building multicopters within the TED classroom can be affordable, and access to supplies can be easily attained. The content the students experience through the multicopter design challenge is easily related and transferable to all STEM areas and allows students to make informed decisions about emerging technologies.
