It's party time! In Confetti Launcher, a hands-on activity from Design Squad™ Nation, kids invent their own confetti launcher! The goal? To make the biggest cloud of confetti they can! This activity challenges kids to become inventors while investigating simple machines and following the steps of the engineering design process. Let kids know that everyone has the capacity for invention (an invention is a useful creation that didn't exist before). In fact, anyone who solves problems creatively and tinkers with new ideas is an inventor.
