America needs more and better scientists and engineers, and no one is more critically needed to deliver that objective than the engineering and technology educators. How I view the world is influenced by my experience. For 35 years, I served in R&D leadership roles at the Procter & Gamble Company. I have managed hundreds of engineers and scientists... and I have seen what makes some succeed while others fail. I myself am a chemical engineer by education. I teach as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering & Applied Sciences, and I offer consulting/board representation throughout industry. I have served on the Advisory Board to OTEEA, and I have been an advocate of STEM education for years.
