"It is the union of science, mathematics, and technology that forms the scientific endeavor that makes it so successful. Although each of these human enterprises has a character of its own, each is dependent on and reinforces the others" (AAAS, 1990). Operating from this premise, teachers at State College Area School District's Park Forest Middle School (PFMS) formed an interactive science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education team.
