Celebrity endorsed advertising has been in fashion for quite some time now; remember the Airtel Digital TV adverts which has celebs like Kareena, Saif, Dhoni and all the hype that it created? But all this hype would have proved to be futile if this Airtel product failed to deliver. Thankfully, this is not the case with Airtel Digital TV, which was the undisputed winner of our Direct To Home (DTH) Shootout (set top box + quality of service) done last month. You must be wondering what makes this Airtel STB different from the rest of the crowd? Well, it offers several unique features and superb performance to boot. First up is the amazing picture quality, undoubtedly the best amongst all the five DTH services (includes the likes of TataSky, DishTV, Sun Direct) that we personally experienced last month. Second up is the ease of usage; there are lots of features which epitomize convenience and ease of use. The universal remote controls both the set top box and the television, which takes away the pain of managing multiple remotes.
