In my experience with the Halo series, I've never found myself totally hooked, fascinated or engrossed by the campaign modes. I'm not saying that the story isn't any good or that the saga isn't worth telling. Its just that the previous iterations were plagued with annoying and incredibly nagging issues and that made it very hard for me to enjoy and appreciate the campaign. I felt absolutely no attachment or any form of connect with the characters, as none of them were portrayed and presented in a meaningful way, and the actual plot was very slow and painfully difficult to follow.
