Why it is hot: Whether you may believe Al Gore or not, but the fact is that automobile makers are busy making greener cars. India may also see the second hybrid (and possibly a lot more) next year. The Honda Civic Hybrid came to India for about Rs 21 lakhs sometime in early 2009, and did not really catch on. But, green is the trend, costs of making such cars isrncoming down and people are becoming more aware of their benefits.
