摘要

Many years back, 3G made its debut with the promise of never-seen-before data speeds. However, while 3G is spreading across the world, it didn't exactly set the mobile industry ablaze and is yet to make its presence felt in countries like India. While Reliance and Tata Indicom have taken the CDMA route, the GSM operators are lagging behind. While they have offered GPRS and EDGE, the bulk of consumers remain firmly rooted in the 2G world.
