I was in Rishikesh some time back. One hell of a trip; a real high (pun unintended). After all, I was finally getting to see what Whitewater rafting was all about! Rafting time. And there's water all around us, literally! Hoarse from all the screaming, we (seven on one raft, excluding the guide) are all thrown aboard into the icy cold water. Seems like combating the 'Three blind mice' (that's a grade 3 rapid) got a tad bit out of hand and the raft overturned. Numb and in shock, we managed to grab the rope our guide threw at us. Sure, it was scary. But that's exactly what gives the adrenaline rush too!
