Say you've got several small MPEG videos on your computer. They could be TV shows you've recorded, backups of some movies you have, or even videos taken with your camcorder. Wouldn't it be nice to create a cool looking DVD with all the clips you want? By using DVD menus, such as those in movie DVDs, you can create a certain amount of interactivity as well. For example, all your different segments can be played individually using buttons, all controllable with your DVD player's remote control. And you can even set your own background for the menu. And the menus are also not that hard to create either. All you need is a free program called DIKO, a DVD-RW drive, and a decently fast computer.
