摘要

Seismic response of spatial structures is known to be amplified in vertical direction even under horizontal input. Setting a static seismic load that can adequately evaluate those responses are hoped. However, the seismic response behavior under horizontal and vertical inputs has not been sufficiently investigated by shaking table tests. In this paper, we will investigate the seismic response behavior of cylindrical lattice shell structures by shaking table tests. The seismic vibration tests are carried out using small scale models with shell span of 75 cm of cylindrical lattice shell roofs under horizontal and vertical earthquake motions. From the experimental results, free vibration characteristics and seismic response behavior of shell roofs under horizontal and vertical motions are made clear in actual behavior. Moreover, the results by experiments are compared with those of finite element analyses. In addition, the seismic response evaluation under horizontal and vertical inputs is attempted by combining the seismic response evaluation method under horizontal input with that under vertical input proposed in previous papers.
