A CEO is a company's No. 1 sales-person, if nothing else, and WilTel Communications' Jeff Storey is no exception. As a provider of voice, data and video services to carriers large and small, in the United States and overseas, Tulsa, Okla.-based WilTei would seem to have a good view on what makes carriers tick. So what in his opinion makes a carrier successful or unsuccessful? "I'm sidestepping your question; I would really rather not talk about what causes people to be unsuccessful.
