A packed auditorium at Channel 4 welcomed execs from the UK's five major TV channels to an RTS Futures event, which lifted the lid on some of TV's more interesting, but less common, jobs. At the late-September session, "Ever wondered what it would be like to work for a TV channel?", acquisitions, commissioning, marketing, media law and scheduling - rather than running and researching or presenting and producing - were under discussion.
