But that is what Friday 17 April turned into as the Digital Britain summit marked a memorable conference, with high-level policy being exposed to an intrigued wider group, ranging from a handful of broadcasters, tel-ecoms executives and newspaper chiefs, to a mix of lobbyists and consultants.
