Martin Hayward, chairman of the Henley Centre, began this session on the digital channel business by offering an insight into the modern viewer/customer who the channel makers have to please. This person doesn't value money as much as time, and the other key currencies at the core of their world, which according to Hayward, are space, information and energy. "There is more choice but less time to choose" was the essence of his argument.
