The Liverpool-based International Cotton Association's (ICA) will hold its annual trade event on October 30 and 31 this year in San Francisco. It is open to anyone with an interest in the cotton trade and more than 700 delegates are already expected to participate. "As we are holding the event in a hub of technology, we have launched our first event app, which is available to all registered delegates," said ICA president, Jordan Lea. This event app will allow attendees to network before, during and after the event, receive important updates to schedule changes and view the event program, he explains. The emphasis of this event will be on strengthening the cotton community along with discussions around sustainability, contract sanctity and the supply chain.
