摘要

Fabrics with self-cleaning properties can open up great new opportunities for the textile industry. Manufacturing of intimate garments, sportswear and technical textiles, among others, will benefit enormously from the development of self-cleaning fabrics. Consumers will also benefit as clothing made of it will be longer lasting and needing no frequent washing. On the whole, self-cleaning fabrics are eco-friendly as they help to reduce energy and water consumption.
