Inkjet printing for the home textile, work wear and military market is likely to undergo a significant change within next year, according to the coloration specialist DyStar that is also one of the foremost textile solution providers and sustainability leaders in the textile industry. A statement the company issued in late December says that DyStar together with Zimmer Austria, a leading producer of machines for textile and carpet finishing, are developing the optimised fixation system for Vat inks. The aim, says the statement, "is to offer a workable system within 2016 which can change the inkjet printing industry for the home textile, work wear and military market."
