The International Cotton Association (ICA) has elected Mohit Shah, a co-owner of Gill & Co, India's 128-year old leading exporter of cotton related products, as president. He succeeds Ahmed Elbosaty who was the president for 2012-13. Mr Shah, the first Asian to assume the presidency of ICA, has been on its board since 2010 and was nominated as second vice president in 2011.
